Check-in with a code
On arrival day you get an SMS and an email with your room number and door code. The code opens the entrance and your room from 2:30 pm. No reception to find, no key to hand back.
Check-out
Check out by 11:00 am – just leave. The code stops working automatically.
Parking
Free, right by the hotel. Arrive by car, van or bike – there is room for everyone.
Lounge on the ground floor
Free coffee and tea around the clock, microwave, TV and a place to sit. Vipps kiosk with soft drinks and chocolate. See photos
Roof terrace
On the 2nd floor – open in summer. Coffee tastes better with a view. See photos
Equipment room on the 3rd floor
Hairdryer, iron, cot, extra pillows, bed linen and towels. Take what you need, when you need it.
Pets and smoking
Dogs and cats are welcome for a fee per animal (see terms). The whole hotel is non-smoking.

How do I check in?
You receive your room number and door code by SMS and email on arrival day. The code opens the entrance and your room from 2:30 pm. No reception, no key card.

Is parking free?
Yes, free parking right by the hotel for all guests.
Is breakfast included?
No. We keep prices down by skipping the breakfast buffet. The lounge has free coffee and tea 24/7, plus a microwave and disposable tableware for food you bring. Restaurants are close by.
Can I bring a dog or cat?
Yes, for a fee per animal per stay (max 3 animals per room). Animals must not be on beds or furniture. See terms.
Can I cancel?
Rooms at the standard rate can be cancelled free of charge until 6:00 pm the day before arrival. Bookings via Booking.com and other channels follow the terms there.
Is anyone at the hotel at night?
Yes. The phone is staffed 7 am–11 pm, and a night guard can be reached 11 pm–7 am.
Can my company be invoiced?
Yes. We offer company agreements with invoicing and regular rooms. Email booking@kongsvingerbudgethotel.no and we will set it up.
